Spare a Stick

Spare a stick, insight 1-10 (at Mileth armory)
A MUST for new characters insight 3-6 firstly for gold but more importantly for the exp.
For this quest, you need:
A fairly low amount of gold on you (less than 1000 coins) or he will suggest you just buy a weapon.
1. Speak to the armorer about sparing a stick.
2. Say you will gather 6 branches for him. (You can gather them around trees in Mileth and in the Eastern Woodland crossroads.) You get 50 exp for each stick you pick up, so you might want to collect some, dump them in the altar, and go back for more.
3. When you have six, return to the armorer, he gives you a stick, a wooden shield and experience.
*Note* Sometimes he will reward you with an oak stick (a rare useless item but people buy them!)
You can sell the stick and shield at the armory and weapon shop.
*Note* This quest can be done repeatedly everyday, or several times on the first day when done this way: all you have to do is gather several sets of 6 branches, and instead of clicking "next" twice to finish the quest, you click "next" once and then you "esc" at the second speech.
A special mark "Loved by Mileth mundanes" will appear if you decide to complete the quest after the armorer says "you make me think of my own child".
